Feelings of young love...
Who knows what will come of this,
The butterflies whirl round and round
Almost dancing
That frenzied dance
The aprehension, the what if´s, the when´s

Everytime I see him,
The dance begins again
Whirling, tumbling

The slight fear when our eyes meet
Then quickly look away
Not knowing what to say

Childhood innocence
Lost in a world of butterflies
But then that lost little girl grows up
She realizes the butterflies won´t go away

Now as she slowly finds her way
The butterflies still remain
Now part of her, they dance

The colour of his eyes
The expression on his face
The movement of his hands
Unknowingly he touches her heart

Those quick glances that might not mean a thing
The words almost heard
The thoughts almost read

And the butterflies keep up their dance
Never ending, always new
