A girl's broken hearted after her true love leaves her.
My Heart’s Key

You hold the key to my heart,
Don’t let it slip away,
For it has the power to rip me apart,
And leave me in disarray.

The key is slowly slipping,
Down to the floor it drops.
Painfully my heart is ripping,
Cut into a million chops.

I bend to fix the pieces,
Of my spirit on the floor.
My body's weakness increases,
A smile on my face no more.

My heart still lies there however,
Hoping you’ll see and feel bad.
It wonders if we could have been forever,
My love for you was all I had.
