Dreaming about someone is always disappointing when you wake up.
i tasted your lips
in a dream
once

there was
         strawberry sweetness
                   and grapefruit bitterness
                             and lemon acidity

i smiled and i cried
you held me
and told me it was all right

i woke up too soon
