I am going to add more and more iteams in here as I go along.
Maiden of the forest light,
glows clearly through the darkened night.
Her eyes shine of morning blue,
while her skin is that of early noon.
Locks of golden hair flow from her head,
with full lips of royal red.
Walking steadily with grace and poise,
she does not make any noise.

Hark! But what is this?!
Shrill beeping from the mystic mist?
“Oh wait . . . my alarm clock.” I say in my slumber,
knocking it onto the floor like a piece of lumber.
I whip off my covers, as if they were snakes,
for I dare not be late.

Rising from my comfy bed,
I feel slightly dazed in the head.
A shout of “Bodyslam!” comes from my sibling’s room,
followed by a massive boom.
I knew the shout was that of my dear mother,
trying to wake my little brother.

Time passes rather quickly,
and I find myself in 1st hour, taking some notes not very neatly.
Now, I am in 2nd hour,
playing my viola with pride and tremendous power!
But wait! Is this 3rd hour? No?
What is this you say?
I am at the end of the day?!
Oh no! How horrible this is!
This can only mean one thing . . .
. . . sparring.

Soon, I find myself at the karate center,
glaring evilly at my ken po mentor.
Oh why?! Oh why?! Is this happening to me?
But wait, why don’t I just flee?
I stare at the unblocked door with glee.
“No one will notice little o’l me!”
Oh no! My plans are going down the drain!
for class has started, the class of pain!

“Get a partner!” the instructor bellows,
and I am paired with a tall looking fellow.
The man, I noticed, rose a foot above me,
and I could only pray he wouldn’t pound me.
With a shout of “Go!” the fighting commenced
and adrenaline is all I can sense.

I came home with new bruises covering my arms and legs,
marking my battle wounds from the day.
Freshly showered and wanting my bed,
dreams of forest maidens start playing as I lay down my head . . .
