I wrote this in High School. the title is the best description. It is in no way morbid.
When the world ends I will be
watching the sun set across a
sea of sparkling white desert sand

I will be standing tall ready to step over
and edge with no bottom
and I will know no fear

I will watch the eyes of an Infant
take its first breath,
followed by its last cry

When the world ends I will be
dancing in the rain under a
cloudless sky

And when the world ends
I will draw in my last breath
filled with the sweet taste
of honeysuckle ...

... and then silence
