a thought for anyone who ever chased a butterfly.
Flying Flowers

Butterflies are like flying flowers, dancing about in the daylight hours.

Their Parchment wings are free at last from their imprisoned cocoons that held them last.

They'll kiss a rose, then light as a breeze, fly to share their nectar with the honey bees.

Their wings may be yellow, red or blue, like stained glass when the sun light shines through.

These flying flowers so delicate and free are always a spectacular site for all to see.
