As I stood on the edge of a cliff at sea...
I lift,
I look
Out to the sun.

I see,
I feel
I touch the sky.

The ground is rough beneath my feet,
The pebbles, they cut,
It’s my defeat.

The swirls beneath me,
Are they air or sea?
Fire or earth,
You or me?

I sweep my eyes downwards,
I see the grey.
The black and the white,
The night and the day.

The water is running,
The fire sears,
The air is breathing,
And the earth hears.

I jump,
I fly,
Out to the sky.

I taste,
I smell
The juices of life and

I sit
I stand
And I gaze.
