This is about someone trying to find their way to a specific place with out directions.
Tonight I am searching for affection again,
but I cannot find my destination.
The only path I know
is the one that leads me home.
Frustration is not the word
I should use right now.
Looking for you for
hours and change.
The only path I know
is the one that leads me home.
Further away from you.
Every road I take
sends me further away.
Good Lord, I don’t know where I am.
Lord, please take my hand.
I can’t find north
when I’m heading south.
I can’t find east from the middle of town.
Come and see
the three ring circus.
Come and see
the buildings that stand.
Come and see
the things that have crumbled
in pictures, in museums.
I will not rest till
I find you.
