a poem about a teen runaway.
Drifting
slowly
like a runaway
no one can catch me
I am drifting
lonely
as always
no one seems to understand
Every time I’ll hide
my pains with smiles
do they know that I live a life of lies?
drifting
lonely
like a runaway
my heart and soul is out of place
What can I embrace?
loneliness seems to be greater
Why can my heart be
filled with happiness?
but only there is darkness
that’s how you know my weaknesses.
