A what if poem.
Tomorrow
What if you could see tomorrow?
What if you had no sorrow?
What if all of this was just a dream,
some wicked twist of your imagination that made you scream?

What if tomorrow wasn't as mean?
What if the grass on your side was actually green?
What if you could live in one of your fantasies?
Would that still make real, which you seem to be?

What if you had lost all those close to you on that tomorrow?
Would you still tell me to let you be?
Would you cry, and scream?
What if you couldn't change that tomorrow?

What if today was that tomorrow?
What if the day after you knew you would wake up alone?
Honestly, is there not one thing,
that you would regret, or hate?

Or...
What if tomorrow would change,
just for you,
And just for me?
