This is my realizations of the person that I am.
I am a child walking slowly,
I am a child becoming grown.
I am a child feeling lonely,
I am a child left unknown.

I am a person hidden from truth,
I am a person stricken by heartache.
I am a person discovering youth,
I am a person beginning to break.

I am a daughter gaining love,
I am a daughter losing hope.
I am a daughter reaching above,
I am a daughter without a rope.

I am someone nobody really knows,
I am someone that feels lost.
I am someone whose soul glows,
I am someone which bears the cost.
