You don't have to touch to remember...
Everlasting

The smallest flower, in the tallest tree
The last leaf to fall, the last people see
The final gentle whisper, of a harsh cold breeze
That single pinch of salt, in all the deepest seas

Those precious moments, in a lifetime space
Those single dreams, to a faraway place
Those pure tears, falling down my cheeks
Burns to the touch, sharp as mountain peaks

Listen and watch, the sun rise and the set
Clouds gather and darken, I'll never forget
Times are changing, in an unknown way
Fear not, cry not, these views will always stay

People can run, they can cower or fight
Steady their gaze, into the purest light
Reach out with their hearts, touch their soul
Never ending, never swaying, they'll reach their goal

Yours, mine, his or hers; calls of the wildest softly blow
Do not rush, do not push; follow your heart's flow
Leave behind troubles, leave behind the past
Hold onto those moments, dreams, things, those that will last.
