I wrote this poem for my nan nan after she got a plum tree for her birthday.
In winter, the Plum Tree's branches hung low,
As he sat in the garden, covered in snow.
He was lonely and bare as the wind was like ice
Freezing to death was not terribly nice.

In Spring, the Plum Tree woke up with a smile,
As he stared at the beautiful garden around him for a while,
The were Daffodils growing in the garden below,
No more wind and no more snow!
The Plum looked up at the top of his head,
He was covered in blossoms of ruby red!

In Summer the Plum Tree woke up in the sun,
And watched as the birds swooped around having fun,
He was covered in leaves of Emerald green...
The nicest he had ever seen!

In Autumn, the Plum Tree looked a treat,
he was covered in juicy plums, ready to eat!
Nan nan came to see him and said "How lovely! Oh my!"
And she baked them in a special pie.
