This is a poem about a girl & how her family finally decides to listen
Can You Hear Me?

I am screaming for your help,
Can you hear me?
I am crying for love & attention,
Can you hear me?
I am slitting my wrists,
Do you see me?
Now it's too late!
Now you can see & hear me!

I showed all the signs of doing what I did.
Did you pay attention?
You cry & scream when you see blood & me dead in my bed.
Now you care?
You call the ambulence & try to get me to answer you.
They said I had been dead for a while before you found me,
Do you wish you would have cared now?

YOu cry & hide my hands at the funeral, even though everyone knows why I am there.
Why do you care now that I am gone?
You finally took notice with something you always took for granted now that I am gone.
Why are people like that?

I know why I chose to die.
Do you?
No you wouldn't you never cared or at least you never showed it.

Now you know why this went down.
Now you can hear me.
Now that I am gone, you will show that you care more than you ever did when I was here.
Now that you can see & hear me.
I wish you should have listened sooner.
