The inability to say the words you want to say...
"Untitled"

The words I wish to say,
They stand within my throat,
No further will they go,
Not past my lips will they see,
There are things I wish to tell you,
But i cannot let them go,
To tell you how I want to protect you,
Even as the storm grows,
How I want to guard you,
Against the rising wind,
How I will stand infront of the bull,
If only to let you live,
I would rather fall into an endless pit of darkness,
Then to see your sadness grow,
But I cannot say these words to you,
For I have no courage there,
My desire is to have you near,
To hold you close to me,
But the three words I long to utter,
Just hang in my throat,
As you walk away,
A tear falls from my eye,
I could not tell you,
Now your gone.
