if love is hidden it will find a way of reaching out
Words fall on the paper,
Just to the left of a kiss,
Purple ink flowing
From a pretty Miss.

Long faded it sits there,
Speaking softly from its rest
A life of love and laughter
Tales of love's request.

Lines and lines of loving
From Pen of pleasure stream,
Silently words calling,
to a life unseen.

Gently, ever knowing,
paper glided in
Amidst little pink frilly's
that speak of decadent sin

Till safely tucked into the drawer
full of personal things,
the poem begins calling,
As the songbird sings.

Age,looks again,
At its lover there
Finding tears of gladness
mingled with the pain.
