An account of childhood's innocence by a Pediatrician
Dedicated to my daughters, Inas and Hannah. These are the links to their photos: "Invalid Item and "Invalid Item

CHILDHOOD INNOCENCE

Chocolate-smeared mouths,
Grime-stained fingers,
Uncanny screams and shouts,
Are child's true signatures.

Truth be told, their love,
Shines high above the peaks,
Their natural naughtiness,
For their wonderfulness speaks.

The nighttime feeds they seek,
The playtime fun they spread,
The nappies that they wet,
The way they jump in bed.

An innocent childhood brings
Mischievousness and fun,
And with them we do swing,
And dance and jump and run.

One never ever gets bored,
When children take the stage,
In point of fact we always,
In our hearts happiness manage.

They are the fruit of love's labour,
They are life's erupted seed,
They are God's form on earth,
They are our daily need.

When I see childhood bloom,
My heart begins to sing,
My feet begin to dance,
For there is no purer being.

Kids everywhere are all the same,
May they be black or white,
Revering one's own kids,
Is completely correct and right.

I pray to God Almighty,
To please, my prayer hear,
Children old and young,
Be they always near.

All ye readers, listen,
To my very precious words,
Give all children their due,
They are Humanity's blooming buds.
