She looks --
but does not
see.


She listens --
but does not
hear.


She touches --
but does not
feel.


She reaches --
but does not
grasp.


She walks --
but does not
move.


She speaks --
but does not utter a
sound.


She imagines --
but does not
fantasize.


She dreams --
but does not
sleep. (sometimes)





She Hurts --
but does not
show.


She hopes --
but dares not
wish.


She thinks --
but has no real
thoughts.


She loves --
but does not
h u r t back.
