I guess we all must have a first-time attempt! It's dark but it happens...
the still life

no outside sound
         only the clock
ticking in the head

no light inside
         only pupils dilating
with the blinking of the eye

no human contact
         only stagnant air
whispering on the skin

no smell of flowers
         only the putrid waste
of human soul

no growth of spirit
         only shattered dreams
