When you cannot recognize yourself.
Today she feels the weight of the world,
Resting heavily on her shoulders.
Today she sees the disappointment,
In their eyes.
Today she realizes the mistakes,
Of yesterday.

She laughs because,
She's not surprised.
No stranger to misjudgement.
She has been down the wrong road before.

Familiar with the role,
She plays the world's fool.
On center stage, she stands.
Bowing to the applause of her fans.

Misunderstood, is an understatement.
The poster child of insanity.
She stares in the mirror at a stranger.
She is looking at the reflection of me.
