cute short sweet poem
I opened my window,
and looked outside.
There were gloomy, dark clouds,
No good for a bike ride.
Rain started to fall,
This is no such bliss!
But Mama always said,
“There’d be days like this.”

This morning was awful,
I had nothing to wear!
All my clothes were dirty,
Which gave me a scare.
My brother forgot to do laundry,
How could he miss?
But Mama always said,
“There’d be days like this.”

My room is a mess,
It’s been like this for weeks!
And my bathroom was soaking,
From all the bathtub leaks.
The sun is shining now,
Giving me a solar-sun kiss.
And Mama always said,
“Those days would end like this.”
