things are put into perspective as time passes.
he slides his left hand into hers.
eases back.
and kisses her neck.
tv in the corner illuminates the room.
the scene is skin against skin.
and roaming fingers.
tangled in hair.
she holds her eyes tight.
as if to keep the moment locked.
she places faith in the touch of his lips
that are pressed so hard against hers.
and prays that pounding hearts and tightly clasp hands
will always remain true.
she feels the meaning in his kiss.
the comfort of his palm.
she forces herself to.
because without such manifestations this moment
will mean nothing.
she holds tight to her belief.
