I had to write a colorful poem for my poetry class.
My tears are sky blue
my blood is deep red.
My sorrow won't go away
as I toss and turn in bed.

My tears are sky blue
No one else can see
no else knows
the loneliness in me.

My tears are sky blue
running down my cheek
spilling onto my pilow
In the world I feel weak.

My tears are sky blue
will no one wipe them away?
Tonight I wish on a star;
the tears aren't here to stay.
