My first poem, written for an entertainer that I like, who died of cancer
ODE TO SLIM
As Ozzie as vegemite,
Entertainer of generations,
Hero of the working-class,
An inspiration to all,
King of the country,
Legend of music,
Gone too soon
Sent to a better Place,
The great arena in the Sky
To play for those who have gone before,
So long great man,
We will miss you.

Bye Slim Dusty
You are gone, not forgotten,
Will miss you, evermore
