This is about when I proposed to my girlfriend at the time and disaster strikes
I wrote this just to clear my mind of the pain.

The dreadful night's memory never wane
Dreams of what once was and what never will be again
Fault as promised is not lain
What went wrong?

Two years of pure love was to pinnacle that night
Gold and Diamond sparkling under the fire light
Newly written music just for this eve' plays
Enchantently over the sound of the fire

Drinks are finished and time is right
Eager to ask the perfect question of true love that night
I lower to my knees and smile at her
Sensing this is perfect I begin my speech

Smiles and then tears flow
From this the hardest two letter word I know
A run to the bedroom and sobbing is heard
I leave the token of love on the table and depart

Two moons have passed Heart is still broke
Not a word has spoken and did not want to provoke
My heart and soul for two perfect years
Has become a stranger that I care not to know

Answers are few and rumours are many
Rushed into it maybe but then again we are twenty
Fault is not hers but give an explaination
Resolution is close if details are reveled

Darkness sets with the fog of doubt
Need to move on she needs to go without
Simplistic rant to clear my mind
This prose is used just for that
