A traumatic experience which I will never forget, and always remember with a grimace.
Innocence taken,
I am shaken.
Throat constricts,
breathing quickens.

Anxiety controls
my every move.
By the uncertainty,
which is tomorrow.

I feel lost.
And for what cause?
It is heard,
but unwanted.

For my fears
have been confronted.
And the tears,
will soon follow.

Vulnerable no more,
I have lost complete control.
It has taken its toll,
for my fear of the untold.
