ORACLE

In your breath and visions of God, you are here
In my breath and visions of you, you are dear

You lay the cards across and tell my fortune
You toss the stones and pick my future's rune

Two coins for the ferryman laid on your eyes
A sop for death's puppy here in your mouth lies

The ghost of you still fresh in my heart and mind
They never knew when they said one of a kind

- The Poet Darká Degerön

----note----
There are a number of Mythological and divination references made, just so you all know and if it helps you to understand the poem better. Especially given its title, Oracle. Enjoy and by the way, this is my 40th poem uploaded to Writing.com!!! I hope you all enjoy it.
