You are part and parcel of me, as Emerson would say.
Ochre nights spent in
amaretto spaces

telling me that you love
me with tulips and peaches

freckles in the mist,
fashionable words muscling
with anticipation

the smell of ginger root,
the toxin of sweating bodies

a lock of your sandy hair,
carnival lights that neonize
the atmosphere

some of the silky days
that crystalize into rapture

the hue of grand kisses that
melt into spider's breath

the urgent message of wanting
with the hunger of the gods

teddy bears and cinamon vanilla
nut cappuccino
as the world passes by

the feathers of a dove,
the mark of unharmed destiny

raspy voices that are just
shy of heaven, a place for us

pieces of you, the earth
sighing in progression
