She escapes to her window, and watches the white snow's beauty.
I hear voice raised high with tension,
my body shakes in apprehension.
Another voice has risen with the other,
and they use their shouts as communication.

I escape outside my window when given chance,
and my blithe heart fills with romance.
A blanket of snow covers every color in white,
and with sun's crimson risen light it does dance.

Wishing upon the beauty of the snow beneath,
I ask for the comfort of white to reach.
I peer into my window and look past the frost,
and wonder if my wishes will come at much a cost.

I feel a warm breeze caress me from south,
and a small smile pulls the corners of my mouth.
The season's white beauty will be taken as days wined,
but with my memory will endure the test of time.
