Peace

Found in your arms, your touch, your eyes
Is a peace I’ve never known
Peace of life in the quiet night,
Shades of laughter, sighs and moans…

In the light of day
I take a break
To collect my scattered thoughts –
The still, small voice leads to my heart
To the peace that you have wrought.
