Short, brief, and rough.
The earth responds
To the knocking on its shell
A constant pounding
Of the most magnificent
Beautiful, intellegent creature
Of them all,
Surefootedly racing
Across earth's soft floor
Of wispy green grass.
His wild mane
Flirts with the wind
As he refuses
To let his mane
Caress his ebony coat
A streak of black
He appears to onlookers
As he races across the land.
He throws his head
And screams a challenge
To all the earth
To anyone who would dare
To challenge him.
The black beauty.
