Sweet Nothings to rot like apples in the sun
She wants to fly away on broken butterfly's wings
And all the angels on the ground
Used to fly around
Until her beauty brought them down
But her spirit is broken
And her time is precious
With her forked tongue and locks of curls
She easily becomes your world
Becomes your one desire
Burns you up inside her fire
Which she keeps in a hole
Locked deep inside her heart
And even when you're together
You're apart and
She says everything you want to hear
Come here
And let me whisper in your ear
Sweet Nothings to rot like apples in the sun
Sweet Nothings that scream you're the one
Sweet Nothings
Sweet Nothings
Mean Nothing
And you're done
