Just a poem. I sorta like this one.
When the world's got you down inside, you've struck the lowest rung
Seems all that you can do is hide, your virtues go unsung

You sit alone and watch the cold hard world spin on by
You wonder at what you've been told, promise it's all a lie

But promises mean nothing when they're said so many times
Why is it you don't just pretend, stand in one of their lines?

Because of what you'd leave behind, this pain and all this sorrow?
No, anything is worth it for a better day tomorrow.

It must be that you had just tried, but nobody could see
The qualities that you possess; it wasn't meant to be

So why don't you just let it rest, knowing your fate is set?
The stone that holds your destiny will never let your dreams be met

It's 'cause the human heart is cursed with images and dreams
And never can a one be met by any human means
