I wrote this when I was sort of in a "funk" lol I blame writer's block
My Muse





In the darkness she holds a light,
Sparing me from unfinished works.
Only disgust shines on my face,
Blocking me from my heart's desires.
Why is my goal so far to reach?
And why do I always fall behind?
It used to be so near.
I could feel it in my soul,
And hear it whisper in my ear.
