This is the first real poem I've written. Please take time to read it.
Open up the door,
look over at the wall,
run across the floor,
decide to take the fall.

Close my eyes in fear,
wanting to be sought.
Feel the end growing near,
but surprisingly I'm caught.

Feel the arms around me,
bringing in the light,
blinded because I can see,
but here comes the fight.

My heart can not decide,
neither can my head,
in which one to confide--
this is the decision I dread.

It feels like my heart
is split in two.
He has one part,
the other's for you.

You've been there for me
in times of need,
but he's what I see
when I begin to bleed.

Cannot decide,
cannot choose,
nowhere to hide,
everything to lose.

Begin to disintegrate,
losing my grip,
not knowing my fate,
starting to slip.

Now this is it.
The end is here.
Through with this shit,
through with these tears.

Decide to let go,
after holding on so long.
They will never know
what all went wrong.

I guess this is good-bye.
I knew I wouldn't last.
My time has come to die.
I am now part of the past.
