Kinda surreal...probably the effect of music on me but it brings peace to my mind...
Music from another Room
by Diana L aka Subaru

Elusive but not hollow
The music from another room

Unconsciously my feet took me there
And there was a garden behind the door where
Irises played the melody of truth
The faith of the believers
Roses hummed the melody of love
The affection of the lovers
Lilies sang the melody of life
The strength of the souls

Seductive but not precarious
The music from another room

Unconsciously my mind wandered
And there was a dream unveiled
Fantasy flew me up high into the sky
The seven strings of rainbow land
Fairy tales wrapped me deep under the sea
The seven notes of wonderland

Curious but heartfelt
The music from another room

Consciously my lips curved into a smile
Cause there was heaven before my eyes
Cherubim gracefully played the piano
A whirlpool of harmonious melodies

Beautiful
The music from another room…
