My first attempt at poetry. A piece about love found, lived...then lost.
Who knew that we would meet like this?


From seperate lives, our fates now coincide.


Who knew that it could begin with a kiss?


A soft lover's touch, a woman now a bride.


Who knew that this love could exist?


Fiery, hungry and alive.


Who knew of the joys and fears, laughter and tears


Of the countless moments, shared over the years?


Who knew that our time could fly by so fast?


Time melting away like a dying day.


Who knew that we would have to deal with the past?


A forgotten pain, we couldn't hold at bay.


Who knew that it wouldn't last?


Who knew?
