A poem dedicated to my mother, and the many sleepless nights I caused.
"Labor is forgotten"
she tells me.
Cast away the pain
for you bought me
only joy.

Your pockets were emptied
Your time given freely.
When my heart shatterd
I wept on your shoulder
and still, you loved me.

My fists of fury crashed down
tearing at your insides.
my fingers grip with force
as the air holds my screams,
but still, you love me.

My heart now knows regret,
as motherhood is mine.
My days now filled with worry,
and stress now rules my head.
but still, I love them...
