This is my second poem, wrote when I was 12 or 13, not really sure.
Suddenly the world seems brighter
As the sun rises
The sunlight flourishing through the bare window
A light smile touches my face
Carelessly i get up and dance
Running around,
Swaying to the music
Feeling like a little kid once again
Past the years i have learned
Life isn't perfect
But for today
It's pretty darn great!
