Lost in this confusion
Not knowing what I feel
either unnatural or bewildered
I don’t know what is real

I’m shaken, whirled upside down
In this roller coaster of life
I’m all stirred up and baffled
Trapped in an endless inner strife

I’m fighting what I’m feeling
Denying what I know
A constant internal battle
That I’m striving not to show

My twisted thoughts make me worthless
They say I’m sick and wrong
I’m chasing myself in circles
And I don’t know where I belong

Maybe someday I’ll escape this
If I fight it I could win
But I still don’t understand
How what I feel can be labeled “sin"
