Does youth mean no knowledge of love?
Is it true? By Carrietta Williams

Is it true what they say, am I too young to understand.
Is it true what they say, am I too young to know.
Does my heart have no feelings or dreams or wishes because of such tender age?
No, I know not what they mean of heartlessness for I feel.
I feel the touch of the dawn, waking my beloved and myself to it.
The wind carrying my soulful melody of yesterday's dreams.
The twinkle of the crystalline starlight shining of love and streaming of hope.
I feel the joyfulness and the sorrow of souls joining till the never days.
My heart is not stopped by such a tender age as this.
Want of family and love, and dreams of happiness have already come to call to our souls.
Delight the tender age of knowingness and true understanding.
For without them, there is no life, no want or need of time itself.
Souls are ageless, such as the vary stars above and among our hopes.
