Everyone thinks I'm mad... Maybe I am, I dunno.
Brink of Insanity
I place a hand over my face,
to hide from the disgrace,
that living brings me.

I hide behind the curtains that I put over my eyes,
but it’s not enough, to disguise
the pain I feel inside.

Hatred rushes through me,
for everyone who ever knew me,
as I try to forget their faces.

Eyes closed tight,
everything’s out of sight,
and there is nothing left to hurt me.

Deserted by my loved ones,
forgetting who I was once,
‘cause they don’t remember it’s still me.

Don’t care what they think,
I’m still on the brink,
of insanity.
