Your inner most feelings
The Windmills of My Mind

I sit here alone
The thoughts
Racing through my mind
I know he is there
I cannot see him
I cannot touch him
But I can feel him.

Like the waves
Rush to the shore
Like the stillness of the meadow
My mind surrenders to him.

The feelings are true
The touch is real
My mind is spinning
The thought of him holding me
The kiss is sweet
As the taste of nectar
Is to the bee.

Why my mind wonders
He is not here
How can this be
You cannot have him
He is like a young colt
Running through the glen
The wind rushing passed him
He sees nothing but the stars.

Can he feel too
Does he know,
Is he there
Will he come.

It is over
The stillenss comes again
The aloneness making my mind numb
But I will dream again
He will be there again and someday________
