written to a girl passing through my life someday I might be brave and give it to her.
I may have changed your life if I did it right,
but instead I went running far out of sight.
I was too scared that I would let you down,
thought it would be easier to not come around.
Yet you are the reason I want to live again,
and I feel like around you I could really win.
Now here I am sorry I found a way to go,
left missing you and you don't even know.
I wanna run to you and tell you how much I care,
but something inside me was telling me not to dare.
Instead I tried to pretend that I couldn't be missed,
and I tried to forget about the night we kissed.
But you're way too much that I could never forget,
and walking out of your life would be a big regret.
For your beautiful eyes and smile has warmed my heart.
The way you move when you dance is off the chart.
My heart skips a beat when you come near,
every word you ever said echoing in my ear.
I'm not asking you to feel the world for me,
just want you know I'm here if you want me to be.
