Lies are worse than anything.
Lies All Lies

Was it a lie,
When You said,
I love you.

Was it a lie,
When You said,
Forever.

Was it all lies?
Were we true?
Was it true?

Were we lying,
When we said
Our vows.

I was lying,
When I said no.

I was lying,
When I said that word.

I was lying,
When I said I hadn’t.
When I said I won’t.
When I said please.
When I said don’t.

Hate is a lie
In this house
Of ours.
