Realization: the gift and the curse.
Every thought is the same
when you look at her, your dream
the love is overwhelming
soon, you think, you will confess

The day comes and goes
she sees your real side
and doesn't trample it
but instead embraces your emotion
with her own

Time treks on with you both
coming to a milestone one summer night
when you consummate everything
passionate embrace and warm caress
love blooms as a morning rose
then you sleep

So how does it feel
the morning after
is it everything you imagined it would be
or a horrible kind of different
like realization
the kind you can't change forever.
