A little poem I wrote in memory of a little girl who died of lukemia.
You opened our eyes with your generous care.
You made us believe when no one was there.
You helped us to see when we acted so blind.
You inspired us to be more.

You gave time to others though the end came near.
You stayed strong and showed us no fear,
and when God took you away from all you hold dear,
you just closed your eyes and smiled.

Your Memory lives on although you are gone.
When a bluebird singing his sweet summer song soars across a clear blue sky, when a cool spring rain falls down from the sky, when the brightest star shines in a black midnight sky, when a new life begins we know you are nearby.
