Warm grey sky
Waiting for rain
Under a pink, orange canopy
August sweat stings your eyes

Pictures cut up into
Speckles of confetti
For a dumpster celebration
You can walk away

Don't look back
Again
Hot, amber rain
Will wash you clean

Out of chances
Dizzy with speculation
You, are the only miracle
you ever needed
