I wrote this in 8th grade, it just poured out on the typewriter I was playing with.
Go to the mall and see
The pretty girls walking
With their pretty boys.
Holding hands,
Walking around.
Love can be exciting.
Love can be a wondrous thing.
But, love can be deadly.
SEX, AIDS, SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES
All the unspeakable horrors,
All the terrors,
It’s all real.
Be careful,
Be careful.
Everyone is at risk.
Be careful.
BABIES, UNWANTED PREGNANCIES
16 years old,
classes to go to.
Party all night.
Don’t need a baby
To tie you down.
Better do it safely.
Know what you want.
Don’t throw it all away.
Your life is yours.
Do what you will.

BE CAREFUL!
THINK BEFORE YOU ACT!!
