A poem about the inside of the faces we use.
Masks

In a crowd of people I stand alone,
No one feels my pain.
Tears stream down my face unchecked,
Almost feels like rain.
My cover kept by plastic smiles,
No one knows my fear.
I keep my mask held firm in place,
And dry the invisible tears.
